Cal Newport was appalled that some people tried to give advice or write books on "surviving college". He thought, "not only do I want to 'survive college' but I want to do really well at college and do so the easiest way possible."
He has written books about how to do so and started a blog called "study hacks" which gives advice on how to achieve the high success and productivity with low stress results that we are shooting for.
One of his eventual goals for Study Hacks is to support student groups on college campuses around the world. Utah State University is one of the schools he has chosen to have a pilot study hacks focus group.
